A Luxury Savannah Destination Wedding At The Perry Lane Hotel

To finally sign & seal their love after twenty-seven years of being together, Octavia and Richard wanted to have a Southern wedding. Their Savannah destination wedding took place at the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Georgia. Because they chose us, it was our honor to provide the soundtrack for such a special day. To officially seal their love of twenty-seven years, the New York natives wanted nothing but the best. They decided to have a luxury wedding reception in the glass-enclosed ballroom at the hotel. The Cocktail hour took place out on the rooftop lawn where guests enjoyed soft tunes by violinist, Chris Barbosa.

The Perfect Venue

Earlier that day, the wedding ceremony took place at First Baptist Church where the two officially became one. Their friends and loved ones came from afar to witness the union. Love, style, and class are what these two lovebirds wanted their reception experience to be. With many Savannah wedding venues to choose from, Octavia & Richard wanted the perfect venue that matched their style and personality. The couple chose Perry Lane Hotel, a luxury collection hotel that would fit just right for their modern-themed wedding reception. The rooftop reception ballroom reveal was a hit! Seeing the “loss for words” expression on the newlywed’s faces was priceless. They were in awe at how their select Savannah Wedding Vendors transformed the ballroom.

Octavia contacted our Pro DJ, DJ Creativity in July 2019. She stated that out of all the DJs she vetted, he stood out far above the rest.

“From seeing and hearing his work, I could tell he’s a definite party rocker! His professionalism, style, and ability to rock the crowd of all ages with old and new music is why I hired him.”

With so much ample time to plan the best playlist, DJ Creativity went to work adding nothing but hit songs. Selections for the dinner music, cocktail hour, select songs for the wedding party introductions, etc. He also included song requests by the bride. A perfect combination to create a New York City-style dance party with a southern twist.

In addition to the music, we provided uplighting around the venue. Wedding colors to match the beautiful coral blush, white, and rose gold wedding décor by Xpressions Floral & Event Design. DJ Creativity created premium lighting scenes to give the newlyweds and their guests the ultimate party experience throughout the night.
