Meet The Owner

Antonio Jones, also known as DJ Creativity, of Concord, North Carolina is the owner and operator of Boss Playa Productions. Music has always been a major part of Antonio’s life. His background includes singing, song writing, music production and spinning records.

Seeing and feeling the energy of people dancing and having a good time Is always an inspiration to him. Antonio's career as a Disc Jockey began in 1983 at small night clubs in Charlotte and surrounding areas. He has provided the music for social events for colleges and universities such as UNC-Charlotte, and North Carolina A & T University in Greensboro. For many years he performed in upscale night clubs such as The Silver Fox and The Original Club 112 in Atlanta, Georgia.  After graduating from college in 1991, Antonio joined Starfleet Music Pool with Ronnie “Captain Kirk” Matthews of Kiss 102 FM.

From 1995 to 1998, Antonio enhanced his DJ skills while performing in larger night clubs in the Charlotte area while handling street team promotions for WPEG-Power 98 FM. From 1998 to 2000, DJ Creativity frequently performed on Power 98 FM’s nighttime mix show, “The Session”, at ten o’clock with Eddie Owens. 

In January 1999 he participated in a DJ Competition hosted by Mars Music and sponsored by Gemini, where he took fourth place out of fifteen competitors. Later he took first place out of eighteen competitors in the 1st annual DJ competition at Willies Records, hosted by Def Jam Records and judged by the world famous DJ Clue.

DJ Creativity continues to bring his music skills to a variety of social and corporate events. As founder and CEO of Boss Playa Productions since 2003, Antonio Jones is the DJ that can provide a total music experience at any event.

About My Music

 Though Hip-Hop and R&B has been the foundation of my DJ experience, I have adapted and performed at a number of venues that required different genres of music. Whether in a Night Club, Private party, DJ competition, or on the Radio, I move the crowd! On this page, I would like you to experience a preview of some of my best mixes and compilations to give you an idea of my skill set in mixing and blending music. You be the judge. Enjoy!
